I agree crowding is a problem. But the “journalist” who wrote that article deserves a calling… If one of the benefits is guests then the suggestion of a separate lounge for guests and for family member is just plain stupid.

I think the Rydges is one of the best hotels in that area. Close to everything you need, at good rates. My go to option if I’m paying.

Thanks for sharing. I visited the Baxter Inn a couple of times – just to give an idea of what to expect at night (don’t be frightened when getting there), here is the laneway entrance in the dark:

I was looking at the QANTAS Club yesterday but funny how they don’t list the price on the registration page.

I try using Zoomy as my first choice, going through Uber if there aren’t Zoomy drivers around – this may happen in some areas but so far it seems I’m doing 2/3 of my rides with Zoomy.

My daughter went Wellington – Napier – Wellington last week and we received LOTS of SMS, with all updates… Contact Air NZ to make sure they have/had the correct details for your notifications.
