Still only $5 here on VFAU
April 12, 2022 at 2:17 pm NZST #6437Adam JobbinsKeymasterI don’t know for sure, but I’d suspect not. Best thing to do would be to call or email them and ask.
Also bear in mind that the MacBook Pros they are selling are the 13″ 2020 version with the M1 chip. A decent machine (I have one for work), but not the latest machines. I have an 8GB one (didn’t get a choice, was just ordered for me) but I wouldn’t buy one with only 8GB, it’s just not enough.

May 11, 2020 at 1:22 pm NZST #6104Adam JobbinsKeymasterI’d be very surprised to see international flights to generally return any time this calendar year, with the possible exception of Australia if both countries continue to show very strong control of the virus as restrictions start to ease.
Even for possible flights between AU and NZ, I think we are at least months away from that.
April 11, 2020 at 12:04 am NZST #6042Adam JobbinsKeymasterTheir current messaging is “if you purchased a non-refundable ticket, it remains non-refundable unless local legislation requires a refund to be made available.”
Don’t believe there is anything on the cards right now to legislate refunds – and doing do may cause significant cashflow and liquidity problems. Just have to hold tight, unfortunately
November 6, 2019 at 11:18 am NZDT #5941Adam JobbinsKeymasterI’m a HLO
Soft duffel bag that I can fit under the seat in front (where possible).
Checked bags are the #1 way to make airports suck
September 5, 2019 at 6:45 pm NZST #5894Adam JobbinsKeymasterI’ve never had a vanity kit on a Trans Tasman flight in business on any airline. Too short a route for them to bother.
I’m also not a huge fan of the Air NZ herringbone ‘Business Premier’ seats. Certainly they are a million times better than sitting in Economy, but compared to my relatively limited experience with other airline’s lie flat hard product (being UA domestic first on a B757 and a few domestic QF business suites on the A330), the Air NZ seat has been my least favorite.
I’ve only flown Air NZ business on the B733 (3 or 4 times now), but I think the seats are slightly narrower on the Dreamliners, if that’s what you were on?
August 5, 2019 at 6:14 pm NZST #5835Adam JobbinsKeymasterIf you’re flexible with dates/times, a first class ticket is often not that much more than coach.
July 13, 2019 at 4:02 pm NZST #5787Adam JobbinsKeymasterI believe ExpertFlyer will show you, but you’d need a paid subscription. Only certain classes will be available for upgrades. Hopefully Steve Biddle will see this thread soon and confirm.
July 13, 2019 at 11:24 am NZST #5783Adam JobbinsKeymasterI’d assume that while they may have sold the seats, they haven’t allocated them yet (or PAX hasn’t seat selected). I think you’d need to look at fare class availability over seat allocated.
Even if there are seats, upgrade confirmation will depend on upgrade fare class availability on the flight.
July 2, 2019 at 10:13 am NZST #5757Adam JobbinsKeymasterNot a huge gamer, but I am currently enjoying/reliving my childhood playing Crash Team Racing on PS4
February 23, 2019 at 10:27 am NZDT #5494Adam JobbinsKeymasteri received this offer from Air NZ. The first line of the terms reads “To be eligible the participant must be an Air New Zealand Airpoints™ member ordinarily a resident in Australia”
February 12, 2019 at 12:01 am NZDT #5454Adam JobbinsKeymasterGoing to be very interesting to see how this all plays out. Good chance it’s going to just turn into utter chaos
January 7, 2019 at 12:36 pm NZDT #5400Adam JobbinsKeymasterI suspect some people have alerts/filters set up, and possibly some have crawlers or other things that regularly check prices on certain routes
December 7, 2018 at 2:35 pm NZDT #5370Adam JobbinsKeymaster[MOD] Ok with this. We don’t have an official policy on referral links like this at the moment, so I can’t promise we’ll allow this forever. but OK now.
I don’t have one for you sorry, but hopefully someone will.
