My bookings conveniently were refundable so I didn’t have to get stuck with credits (though that’s what they gave me initially)
October 26, 2020 at 11:35 am NZDT #6166GlobalTravellerParticipantHigher roaming rates doesn’t seem like such an issue right now…
August 5, 2019 at 11:12 am NZST #5831GlobalTravellerParticipantWhen I called about some Premium Economy upgrades recently I was told since they didn’t clear when booking, the next window would be 2-days before the flight. If not cleared by then, we’d be waiting until check-in or even at the gate.
April 11, 2019 at 11:12 pm NZST #5637GlobalTravellerParticipantThanks for the helpful tips! Decided to take the advice of flying to Australia.
March 31, 2019 at 11:08 am NZDT #5617GlobalTravellerParticipantLooks like it will cost about $1200. Is Elite Status worth that much?
March 30, 2019 at 7:27 pm NZDT #5615GlobalTravellerParticipantAnd now the free Wi-Fi continues for good.
August 18, 2018 at 12:42 pm NZST #4970GlobalTravellerParticipantThoroughly recommended. The only nicer option for that price that comes to mind would be an AirBnb – and to get something superb you’d likely be looking a little further afield from the CBD or paying more.
August 18, 2018 at 12:38 pm NZST #4969GlobalTravellerParticipantI would just email the hotel and ask. Some hotels are open to special arrangements – such as an ongoing discount for a corporate that agree to a minimum number of nights each year.
June 4, 2018 at 8:54 pm NZST #4751GlobalTravellerParticipantThis was quite a shock! But actually a pleasing one that is good for consumers. Now Qantas customers have access both Jetstar and Air NZ flights in NZ.
May 3, 2018 at 10:43 pm NZST #4474GlobalTravellerParticipantThanks, I’m going to take a look now.
April 5, 2018 at 9:28 pm NZST #4334GlobalTravellerParticipantI always avoided Virgin flights when booking flights between New Zealand and Australia so doesn’t have much of an impact for me.
February 4, 2018 at 1:57 pm NZDT #4060GlobalTravellerParticipantI tried to use a price promise with a U.S. hotel chain recently but they found a loophole to get out of it.
February 4, 2018 at 1:54 pm NZDT #4059GlobalTravellerParticipantThat sounds infuriating!
I wonder what the actual rules are with batteries now?
I remember being told to carry on lithium batteries rather than putting in checked luggage. There maybe is a limit or some other rules around batteries but I can’t remember the specific detail.
January 28, 2018 at 10:01 am NZDT #4020GlobalTravellerParticipantBased upon my observances at CES this year Google have won the war.
I’m not so sure. Google spent a lot of money to be visible at CES but I think there were actually more things overall with Amazon Alexa.
January 17, 2018 at 12:19 am NZDT #3952GlobalTravellerParticipantI am going to China soon too
I enjoyed visiting China. Are you doing for work or a holiday? Which airline will you be flying?
