Air New Zealand has announced that it will fly it's Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on the Auckland to Adelaide route year round.

Air New Zealand announced earlier in the year that it would introduce the Dreamliner on the Auckland to Adelaide route from October 2017 as a trial over the Summer months to complement the Airbus A320 aircraft that already flew the route.

The introduction of the Dreamliner will be a bonus for Air New Zealand customers who want to enjoy the benefits of Premium Economy and Business Premier on this route. The Airbus A320 only features an economy class cabin.

The service will operate a 787-9 Dreamliner on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday as NZ191 from Auckland to Adelaide, and NZ192 on the return flight from Adelaide to Auckland.

During peak periods Airbus A320 flights will continue to operate on the route on Monday and Tuesday as NZ791 and NZ792.
