I’ve noticed some very good airfares from Air Asia. Has anyone tried them and come to a conclusion about how good they are?
They’re a “no go” carrier in my books purely from a safety perspective with regards to pilots and aircraft maintenance after the report from the flight that went down in the Java sea.
Of course I know people that have flown them and are still alive. Out of the low cost carriers their slightly angled ‘flat beds’ are supposed to be quite good and a fairly decent lounge in KL(IA2).
They may also be one of the carriers that offers upgrades to their premium class if you don’t buy it outright but don’t quote me on that last bit.
Sometimes if the price is right then I wouldn’t worry about service and food. Can’t shed any light on that aspect for you
