Air New Zealand has just picked up the best Premium Economy award from the 2018 Skytrax World Airline Awards.
Also was ranked 17th in the 2018 Worlds Top 100 Airlines up from 19th last year.
Well done to the Air NZ team – punching above our weight yet again!

Top 5
1. Air NZ
2. Qantas
3. Singapore
4. Lufthansa
5. Air France
Notably VA came in at 9 which I’m surprised at as the reviews from Ausbt look good although I think NZ has better leg room.
China Airlines who fly here are 10th.
PE is my favourite ride on the 787.
I do wish the tray table was a bit more sturdy though. It feels a tad flimsy and slants downwards a bit to the side. Dad’s glass slid off and smashed in the aisle.
PE on the Dreamliner is a great experience with the smaller cabin.
2 of my flights have been swapped out for version 2 of the 789. Have upgrades in for both, but actually hoping I just get PE on one of them so I can see what it feels like.
