Hilton are bringing the DoubleTree brand to the Auckland CBD, with the announcement of a 231 room hotel scheduled to open in early 2023. It will be managed by Queen Fern Holdings Limited.

The property will be located on Albert Street and is a short walking distance from the Sky Tower and waterfront. Along with an on-site restaurant and gym, it will also include 400 square metres of meeting space.

It will add to the current Hilton portfolio in Auckland with a Hilton hotel already on the waterfront, and a DoubleTree hotel under construction in Karaka, around 30 minutes south of the CBD, which is due to open in early 2021.

Hilton currently has 6 properties in New Zealand, with Hilton hotels in Queenstown, Taupo and Auckland, and DoubleTree hotels in Queenstown, Christchurch and Wellington. A DoubleTree is also currently under construction in Napier that is due to open in 2021.
