In May 2017 Air New Zealand opened their refreshed lounge at Melbourne Airport. I visited the new lounge recently as a guest of Air New Zealand, and my review is available here.
Hope to visit the new lounge with a friend in November after a girls long weekend (if we ever get that organised). Great they have options to expand. Lots of power sockets and USB charging is much appreciated, even while you’re eating especially if an evening flight.
I’ve always thought Air NZ had better food than the Oz counterparts and they have decent options out for longer. I’m pretty sure they’ll be my number one for a long time to come.
(What’s with this old ‘gold elite’ nomenclature? :p)
