Ex AKL departures are red eyes with return flights being day flights.
Never been to Hawaii – it’s on the list but just not high on the list. I’d probably aim for an AA J redemption on the red eye and maybe a cheap NZ grabaseat economy or sale PE flight on the return given it’s a day flight.
