i had to purchase some Philippine pesos for my niece and nephew…. for which anz charged the princely sum of $12.
But they also told me if I had a platinum card the commission would be waived
i can’t find anything on the website with words to that effect… thoughts anyone?
Wouldn’t the annual fee of the platinum card be higher than others? Like higher than $12?
I think in Australia ANZ waive the fee for any of their own customers. In NZ they mention 0% commission with Airpoints Platinum card here:
https://www.anz.co.nz/personal/credit-cards/airpoints-visa-platinum/
Bear in mind however the bank picks their own exchange rate and they make profit on the currency conversion that way.
