Forego housekeeping to save $ on F&B or earn extra points

I’ve noticed a few hotels offering extra points or $ off F&B if you forego house keeping if you’re staying longer than 1 night. I can’t say I look at all of the cardboard in a room and I’m sure it’s only at certain participating properties but worthwhile keeping an eye out for if you’re planning on eating at the property.

I actually had to take the cardboard with me to reception. I think this is the cardboard they mean. This is on top of the 20-50% off F&B for status.

 

ACCOR NOVOTEL

Housekeeping kept a tally of it. Great when combined with the Accor plus card for 50% off.

IHG HI Express

Points – those always come in handy.

 

I haven’t seen it at any SPG / Hilton properties but I haven’t stayed in lots of those either.
