Did anyone else read this, then notice the unusual notice at the end of the article about the date:
Very nice of the pilot to turn around the plane but odd how such a big media outlet could get mixed up and publish an old story as current news.
The first paragraph clearly mention current events and the next one state with no doubt the story is old. Why publish as a “feel good” story to then correct it?
I wonder if this was editorial or advertorial…
I’ve seen this story twice now on stuff under the travel segment over the past week.
Kudos to Etihad showing their human side but you can’t help but notice the timing of the article after the United fiasco. Scoring brownie points perhaps?
