Hi there,
Air NZ are refusing to refund my flights to London via LAX because they say it doesn’t meet the US Dept of Transportation guidelines as the ticket says Auckland-London. That means it is an exclusion from the refund rules. I can’t find documentation of this online. Does anyone know if this is legit or BS?

It would seem some people are getting refunds for this route, and others aren’t.
Air NZ advised in their industry briefing on Wednesday that they’re still awaiting clarification on their requirement to refund on this route.
